Hey, it's Marina, travel experta. Today we're going to be talking about Te Quiero Verde vegan restaurant in the heart of San Cristobal de las Casas. Are you guys ready for an adventure? Let's begin. We just recently discovered a really cool app called Happy Cow.

I don't know if you guys have ever heard it, but it's great for vegetarians and vegans all over the world, where people post all the different options and restaurants in the area you're visiting. And of course, once we discovered it, we are now addicted to it. And the number one restaurant that came up was called Te Quiero Verde. It's located right in the heart of the historic district of San Cristobal de las Casas, which just happens to be literally three blocks from our house, our airbnb in San Francisco. Of course, we had to go and check it out, and rumor has it, which I believe is a true story, that it's owned by rock climbers, although they personally weren't there.

So, of course, we had to go and check it out even more so, and it's an adorable little restaurant, probably with like four or five tables in the front. And then they have a little area in the back that's outside as well. They have an extensive menu, all 100% vegan, and it's pretty expensive. It's quite flavorful. You could choose so many different things there that I don't even want to go into.

But they have sandwiches, they have tacos, they have Mexican foods, they have pastas. They do have a wide variety of vegan options. And it's really tasty. The prices are really good. Everything is between four dollars to eight dollars per dish, no more than $8 altogether.

And that's including, like, when you add on the extra mushrooms or some extra stuff. Cute, delicious, tasty. And they do accept credit cards, which quite a lot of restaurants here do not, without any extra fee on top. So if you are into vegan, vegetarian food definitely a place you need to check out. It's adorable, fun, and it's cheap.

If you guys have any feedback on that restaurant, I'd love to hear it. If not, great. Go visit. If you enjoyed this podcast, leave me a review, share it with your friends, and remember to make every day an adventure.
