Hey, it's Marina, travel experta, and today we're going to be talking about road trip hacks, having jumper cables and a jack. Are you guys ready for an adventure? Let's begin. Yes have and make sure you test your jumper cables and your jack. And it would be really good for you to kind of brush up on your flat tire skills.
I cannot even tell you the amount of people I know that don't have jumper cables. I remember we lived in this one place and our neighbor's car was constantly breaking down and he was constantly knocking on our door to borrow our jumper cables. And I'm thinking to myself, I'm like, it can't possibly just be breaking down where we live. His car probably breaks down in other areas as well and he never has jumper cables. So the last thing you want to do is have an issue of any sort.
Maybe you left your nightlight, the car light on overnight in some place randomly because you went to get something in your car and your battery is dead and you don't have jumper cables and you are in a place that you don't know anybody. And a lot of times people don't have jumper cables. So you need to be responsible and get jumper cables. As a matter of fact, they sell for like $30, kind of like the first eight kits of cars. When you're driving, it's got like that light that you have like a little stand that says that to warn people before you hit before.
Like you could put it away before your car. If you have some sort of an issue with your car or even like a flat tire, guys, just be ready. Especially if you're going on a long trip, the last thing you want to do is be stuck in God knows where. You have no cell service to call a car service or a tow service. Just have the basics down.
You'll always be able to get that knowledge and it's not that difficult and even just to learn something as basic as fixing a flat tire, which, by the way, requires you to have an extra tire for that flat tire. Okay, guys, be prepared. You can fully control this, so make sure that you are able to control as much as you can of your environment and it starts by your knowledge and having the basics.
