Hey, it's Marina travel experta. Today we're going to be talking about Xela restaurants. Part Three mandarina Restaurant Review or Mandarina Cafe. Are you guys ready for an adventure? Let's begin.
So if you have been listening to the other episodes about restaurants in Sheila, make sure you go and check those out. Also go and listen to the Sheila overall, what to do to podcasts in general. I mentioned earlier that the majority of the restaurants are all in zone one, which is all very walkable, close to the Parquet central area, the Cathedral. And up to this point we've been looking at different restaurants and been very unimpressed until we found Mandarina. I have to say, Mandarina is probably one of the yummiest restaurants definitely in Xela.
By far, the yummiest, absolutely delicious, fun restaurants in Xela. It's outdoors, it's got a really lovely feel. The owner is a massive dog lover, so there's lots of doggies there. It is very pet friendly, but the food is delicious. It is predominantly vegetarian with vegan.
They do have some chicken and a little bit of bacon, which I always say bacon is a separate food group. That's how yummy it is sometimes. But anyways, the food is probably 90% vegetarian and you could even make it vegan. But it is really tasty, like to the point where it's probably one of the yummiest restaurants we've had in Guatemala in general. So if you have a chance to visit and eat in Mandarina, I highly recommend it.
It's also a great place for digital. Nomads, the Tenet is strong, but it is a top face style. So they have great coffees and whatnot, but they're only open for breakfast and lunch. They close at 04:00 p.m.. It is not a place where you would get dinner as other restaurants do.
So if you are going to go there, make sure that you go before 04:00 p.m.. And the portions are huge, really well priced. So we went at 230 and the lunch, late lunch was well enough to keep us from eating through the night. So that's how yummy was. That's how big it was.
Honestly, one of the number one restaurants you need to test taste while you are in Sheila. If you guys have been there before, I would love to hear you're opinion. And if you enjoyed this episode, please leave me a review, share it with your friends and remember to make every day an adventure.
