There are many steps to follow, and many requirements needed to get a non-lucrative visa for Spain, and one of them is getting a notary service.

Hey, it's Marina, travel experta. Today we're going to be talking about notarizing copies for your non lucrative visa for Spain. You guys ready for an adventure? Let's begin. So you have to have several documents notarized.
And you will also have to have several documents apostilled. I have an entire episode about what is an apostle service, how to go about doing it. But the main difference is when you get something notarized, it's because you have personally written it. You will need to have several things notarized. For instance, the letter of intent stating that you will not be working there.
Then you will also have to have some other things every time they're different. I don't want to be giving you the exact things that need to be notarized, because believe it or not, they change often. So make sure that you are constantly contacting the consulate to get the updated needs or regulations for this. However, for notary public, you need to be there in front of the live notary to sign to make sure. Also, it's really important to make sure you get it notarized three months within you applying.
If it's over the three months, they will not accept it. So it's really pretty straightforward. Notary public usually cost like $20, but everywhere it's different. Another interesting thing, different states in the United States have online notary public because like I said, you always have to have something notarized that you did not expect. I already was not in the country.
I already was traveling by the time I found out that I had to get something else notarized. And in that respect, I needed to do an online notary. And it worked beautifully for the state of Florida. It was not a problem. I don't know if your state has that option.
The majority of states today do have that. So you don't even actually have to be in front of that person. But if you have the option to be in front of the person to get it notarized in front of a real notary republic, it's just a lot cheaper versus when you're doing it online, it's like three times more expensive just for you to know and understand. And if you are doing in any other country, again, there are no republics everywhere. Make sure to see if you could do it online.
